We are thrilled you’re considering this opportunity! It is a fantastic and exciting time to join our Resourcing Team here at Brunel Academies Trust!
Are you passionate about supporting schools? Have been a School Business Manager or Teacher yourself, thriving better in the back office? Or perhaps you are an agency consultant, PA, Secretary or Senior Administrator with excellent front of house professional customer service looking for a change? With strong administration and/or account management experience to guide your stakeholders, this could be the right career move for you!
Based in our Salisbury Central Office, working closely with the existing full time Resourcing Officer, you will be a closely knit team, part of the wider and close at hand (remotely!) Resourcing Team in Swindon – we are one team and we support each other. You will be facilitating recruiting needs to your Headteachers in Salisbury and additional schools or alternative provisions across Wiltshire as we continue to grow. This means you will from time to time travel across Wiltshire sites or for events, so access to driving is required (expenses are supported or booking our electric business vehicle possible). Once settled and comfortable in your new 3 day a week role (days to be agreed with your line manager), working from home is supported 1 day a week. Work/Life balance is important and it’s exciting to note this position has scope to grow to full time, so this is a great platform to step in and develop from.
You will be working directly under the Resourcing, Learning & Development Manager for Brunel, taking ownership for your Education Provisions (EPs, schools) from vacancy arise to candidate starting induction. It’s an exciting process, one that is more rigorous than corporate processes due to Safer Recruitment and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) regulations – and we’re a big piece of the Safeguarding puzzle. Your role is vital so there is plenty to learn and always the children’s safety at the forefront of our minds.
It is a busy office, with plenty of variety to keep you going, so time management and flexibility is a must. You represent the Brunel professional brand in all that you do from candidates to third party suppliers and stakeholders. Being able to quickly build and maintain rapport is beneficial. Brunel is dedicated to supporting growth and learning to our colleagues, and you will learn so much within this position where Continued Professional Development (CPD) will be explored and supported for the right candidate. It is important to Kirsty Fyfe, the Resourcing, Learning & Development Manager that your wellbeing is always considered and you develop at the right time and pace for you.
The attached job description and person specification will detail your role in full.
Interview: 12.06.24
Note: Applicants will be considered as received. Should a suitable candidate be identified, we may close the vacancy early.
Training: It is important to us to ensure you feel valued and supported. Full training appropriate to the role will be provided.
