Based in our Salisbury Central Office for the wider region, leading the existing full time Resourcing Officer, you will be a closely knit team in a busy office, part of the wider and close at hand (remotely!) Resourcing Team in Swindon – we are one team and we support each other.
Under the direction of the Head of Resourcing, you will lead your Resourcing team within the Multi Academy Trust (MAT) to ensure a fully comprehensive, robust and positive recruiting service and experience is delivered as we continue to develop and grow across the region. You will have variety, providing support to the Head of Resourcing on projects (including TUPEs) and KPIs, facilitating resourcing training, acting as a specialist for recruiting and in education recruitment (if not already then developing your knowledge on this need in line with legislation). Having the ability to drive to various sites between Salisbury and Swindon and across Wiltshire as we grow will be required. Flexibility in line with work/life balance is something you’ll have as our Resourcing Manager.
You will be experienced in the full recruitment lifecycle at varied levels including casual to leadership. From appointment need, through shortlisting, interview, pre-employment checks and induction and a keen eye for the detail of written documentation. You will have a flair for Client Relationship Management (CRM) internally and externally, responsible for Continued Professional Development (CPD) for your Resourcing team (which may extend to other regional teams as agreed with the Head of Resourcing). You will be able to build relationships and effectively engage with Headteachers (HT)/Heads of Service (HoS), Finance, Operations and People colleagues across the Trust to ensure procedures are adhered to; in line with legislation and maintain compliance.
