The Role

Do you have a passion for making education accessible and inspiring for every child? Melksham House School is a brand new school (opened September 2025), looking for compassionate and dynamic teachers to join our dedicated team.

About the Role:

As a Teacher at Melksham House School, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of children with SEND. Working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver personalized, engaging lessons that cater to the unique needs of each learner.

Note: We are looking to recruit two teachers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate creative and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs outlined in students’ EHCPs.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENDCo to implement individualized support plans.
  • Track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure all children reach their full potential.
  • Work in partnership with families to ensure a cohesive approach to education and well-being.
  • Promote positive behaviour management and encourage social and emotional growth in a nurturing environment.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive, inclusive school community with a strong focus on professional development.
  • Opportunities to work with a highly skilled and multidisciplinary team.
  • Modern facilities and resources designed to enhance learning for students with SEND.
  • A chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families.

About You:

We are seeking an empathetic and creative educator with a commitment to ensuring that every child can thrive. If you have experience in EYFS this would be advantageous but not essential. For full role responsibilities and expectations, please see the attached job description and person specification.

Note: Applicants will be considered as received. Should a suitable candidate be identified, we may close the vacancy early.
